Andy Rouse

Andy Rouse is an inspirational wildlife photographer who is well known all over the world.  He is a unique individual who has been known for his incredible ability to capture photos of animals and birds all over the world.  Andy's images have been acknowledged as being some of the best in the world for many years.  Andy’s trademark stance of being “up close and personal” to some of the most dangerous animals in the world make his work even more prestigious.

His images are some of the most popular in the wildlife photography industry.  He has won 9 awards in the past 7 years in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition. This includes the Gerald Durrell Award for Endangered Species.  Some of these awards that he has received have almost nearly cost him his life.  Andy has been within several feet of the largest male Grizzlies and has never once been worried for his life.  He places his trust and faith in the famous bear guide Brad Josephs and is rewarded with incredible shots.

Andy has always had a thing with big cats and has been very lucky in his career to get some great images of them.  He also has put an album together that has raised over nine thousand dollars to help for the conservation of tigers.  This is why Andy has been considered a Tiger Ambassador. His style is to get unusual angles of some pretty unfriendly animals and this inevitably puts his life at risk.
